[anvplayer video=”999456″ /] PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A man accused of shooting and injuring two women in Providence over the weekend was arrested Tuesday morning, city police announced.
According to Maj. David Lapatin, Jimmy Seth was taken into custody just after 10 a.m. in North Providence.
Seth, 21, is charged with firing at two women who were walking on Health Avenue Sunday afternoon. One woman was shot in the shoulder while the second was hit in the wrist. Neither injury is considered serious.
The shooting was just one of several violent incidents in the city over the past few days. According to police, two other people were stabbed and three others were shot – one fatally – with the latest coming early Tuesday morning on Atwells Avenue.
